2017 Small Business Facade and Property Improvement Grants

The 2017 Small Business Facade and Property Improvement Program is a component of FOCUS that provides matching grants to property owners willing to renovate the street-front exteriors of their structures. These improvements could include new signage, windows, painting, and/or structural or design changes. Donor Highlight: INHP Catalyst Grants

Donor Highlight: INHP Catalyst Grants In 2015, through the generous support of Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP), a $18,000 Catalyst Grant was awarded to the Martin Luther King Center in Mid-North to support the Family & Neighborhood Advocate project, a service delivery model for families and children. This project provides intensive head-of-household services including workforce development, connections to education resources, income supports and financial management and will target families of School #43. Thank you INHP for your generous support!

38th and Shine project wins $10,000 grant

Congratulations to Stefan Eicher who won the #LOVEat38th 5 x 5 contest for his project, 38th & Shine. Stefan received $10,000 to organize an event on May 7 to break the record for the most sparklers lit. The 5×5 event was a contest sponsored by LISC to foster community building and art-focused innovations in selected Great Places neighborhoods.
