2018 LISC Indianapolis Annual Report

We believe in partnering for change. In 2018, LISC Indianapolis partnered with over 200 organizations to forge resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity in Indianapolis. Thank you for your partnership in 2018.

Below you will find LISC Indianapolis’ 2018 Annual Report, detailing how we continue to serve as the only city-wide organization focused specifically on neighborhood-based solutions for community development. This past year was a year of continued implementation and new beginnings. We continued to strategically invest in Livability, Opportunity, Vitality and Education in our partnering neighborhoods. We began implementation of two new Great Places 2020 plans, supported inclusive entrepreneurship through Forward Cities, financed transformative industrial redevelopment projects in the FOCUS:works districts, and launched new efforts to address the Social Determinants of Health.

In 2018, LISC invested $13,869,629 in Indianapolis neighborhoods. This total includes $12,230,000 in approved loan financing, $1,473,385 in program grants, and $91,244 in training, technical assistance, and capacity building. From this investment, LISC leveraged an additional $32,453,079 in other neighborhood development investment.
