Casey Seaton is Midtown Indy’s (Maple Crossing Great Place) new Program & Events Coordinator. Casey, a lawyer by training and now a community builder by trade, joins the community service corporation world after a stint in private legal practice. His inspiration for the shift comes largely from a duty-driven, community-focused mentality, a mindset that also led to his co-leading the November Project free public fitness movement here in Indy. He’s curious about our Midtown area’s history–both the inspirational and the lamentable–and aims to help the community write its next and most exciting chapter. Having spent a portion of his childhood in the small southern Indiana town of Ferdinand, Casey sees city neighborhoods as analogous to small towns and believes communal support and accountability is what ultimately makes these places great. Casey joins Midtown Indy in their new offices at 3965 N Meridian St, Ste G, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
