The Centers for Working Families (CWF) program, with the help of The Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), has launched its new website: www.cwfindy.org. Designed to educate, create awareness, and enlist CWF support, the site focuses on program components and the impact it’s having on participants.
CWF has seven locations throughout the city providing career and personal financial services that focus on the financial bottom line for low-to-moderate income individuals and families. This means changing people’s financial behavior in a way that encourages them to make a long-term commitment to increasing income, decreasing expenses, and acquiring assets.
“CICF is proud to strategically partner with LISC and the Indianapolis CWF network to advance best practices around increasing the earnings and assets of residents of Central Indiana”, said Angie Carr Klitzsch, Community Impact Director – Family Success at CICF. “Wrapping multiple services around a family and working with them holistically over the long term provides the best chance for individuals in our community to achieve economic stability and security. In addition, the quality of the services being delivered is paramount. That is why The Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of CICF, continues to invest in professional development opportunities for front line staff and technical assistance around case management, results-based accountability and outcomes tracking.”
