GREAT PLACES 2020: WEST MICHIGAN AND KING
Artistic and cultural activities strengthen a community, particularly when they reveal and celebrate its character and identity. Creative Placemaking provides a vital spark that brings a neighborhood to life and transforms it into a place where things happen and people want to be.
This new art installation was created in partnership with LISC and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. The design was done by Wil D. Marquez of w/Purpose design. Fabrication was done by Cutting Edge Craftsmen LLC based out of the Brookside Industrial Complex. Planting, clean ups and hardscaping was done by volunteers over a series of work days led by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
