Need a new football field? NFL Field RFP now Available

It’s not too late to respond to the 2013 Request for Proposals (RFP) for the LISC sponsored NFL Fields Grassroots Grant Program. The program is a partnership of Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the National Football League to provide non-profit, neighborhood-based organizations, middle schools and high schools with financial and technical assistance to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of local community football fields. Matching grants up to $200,000 are available. Click here for RFP and submission criteria.

This is a great funding opportunity if you are looking to upgrade a field in a community park or school in your neighborhood. This is a competitive grant, but priority will be given to fields located in LISC Sustainable Communities.

Proposals are due no later than March 15, 2013 and MUST BE MAILED directly to the National LISC office in New York. E-mails will not be accepted.

Contact Shawn Thomas at [email protected] or (317)454-8497 to discuss your proposal in advance or answer any questions.
