LISC lends $2M in financing for the new KIPP Legacy High School

We are delighted to congratulate KIPP Indy Public Schools and Edna Martin Christian Center on the closing with LISC of $2M in financing for the new KIPP Legacy High School located in the Martindale Brightwood neighborhood. The $11.265M project is an expansion of KIPP Indy and is a part of EMCC’s $4.3M redevelopment of it’s new 6.8 acre Leadership and Legacy Campus. At full enrollment, the new school will serve 451 students.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is partnering in this financing with Civic Builders Inc., manager of the Facilities Investment Fund, a new $100 million lending entity, funded by the Walton Family Foundation and Bank of America.

We congratulate Emily Pelino and her team at KIPP Indy on their continued success in providing high-quality educational opportunities and the leadership and vision of Tysha Sellers and her team at EMCC to leverage the buildout of their new campus.
